Audrey’s Corner for Pets: Dye your pet

There is another option for dog and cat owners who want to dress up their pets but can’t get them to wear a costume: dye.  I’m black and my fur is beautiful so my person would never dye me, but we have seen several dyed dogs at various Halloween events and they seemed happy.  It probably works best on white furred animals.  If you’re going to do this, please please please make sure to research and find a pet safe dye.  Nothing is worth risking the health of your pet.  Many pet salons will do this service for you which will probably save you a huge mess.

You already know I am totally against dying an animal- just no humane way to do that pet-safe or not. Especially a cat that does not like to get wet or messed- its just mean.
