Jack-o-lantern Paper Mache Pumpkin for $125
Montana Etsy seller The Lantern specializes in sinister grinning paper mache jack-o-lanterns. I’m always looking for more permanent jack-o-lanterns that also have a creepy factor to leave out the whole season. The Lantern’s pumpkins are great for that spooky, signature look without the rot. The jack-o-lanterns are handcrafted with paper mache, painted and then coated with polyeurethane. You can light them up with those little plastic, battery operated candles available in most Halloween retailers or with a string of Christmas lights. Or you can put other things in the mouth (a dish of candy, plastic rats, whatever). I just love their wide, evil grins and veiny surfaces.

These are very cool- hard to say which one I like best. Maybe the first one – but could be the last green one. Hmm. No pumpkin mess and a cool evil face too- hard to beat.
I love these paper mache jack-o-lanterns: Why didn’t I think of this years ago!! The posted one’s are great but I think I may try making my own…maybe one jack eatting another …ghoulish no?
