Happy Halloween and Sixth World Premiere Illustration

Happy Halloween you miserable maggots!  I’ve been running around like a psychotic having a manic spell this weekend, collecting souls and making mischief.  I have so much I can’t wait to share with you over the next week or two.  But I refuse to be chained to the computer on this of all days.  So for now you’ll have to be satisfied with this gorgeous and brand spanking new Dahlia Jane illustration by the incredible Callow Lily.

Callow Lily specializes in vicious femme fatales with intense, penetrating stares.  I have had her at the top of my list to do a Dahlia illustration for over a year and grave-robbing and black market pedaling finally paid off so I could commission a portrait.  I couldn’t be more pleased with this one!  The eyes are stunning and I love the black dahlia headband, the straight jacket, the skull and the bottle of something toxic peeking out of her count hands.  She really captured the living dead girl vibe.  SICK SICK SICK!!!

Isn’t she gorgeous!  To see more of Callow Lily’s delightfully twisted portraits, or to commission one, visit her website.

I hope everyone has a thrilling day!

Well – the eyes definitely have it with this portrait. Course those are the eyes that mother nature and genetics luckily bestowed on you against all odds so maybe they are the windows into your possession as the sketch implies. Hmmm
