Tarte for True Blood Limited Edition Palette for $52 from Sephora
The latest True Blood product tie-in, a limited edition collection of makeup from Tarte cosmetics, debuted yesterday at Sephora. The palette comes in a fun red and black corset-inspired case and includes: seventeen eye shadow shades perfect for achieving a sultry summer smoky eye, black gel eyeliner, black mascara and an eye primer. A lip stain and cheek stain are also being sold separately. The lip stain promises to plump up your pout for a just bitten look and is mint flavored. I’m having trouble picturing the effect of the sparkly red cheek stain blusher. All of the makeup is paraben, phthalates and synthetic fragrance-free, so it’s gentle on skin. If I get a chance to visit Sephora I’ll see if I can play with samples of this collection to let you know if it’s worthy of the True Blood branding.
